As the 2016 Pirelli World Challenge season comes to a close, Salinsky Racing is proud to announce a 5th place finish overall in championship points. Being the first full pro season with Pirelli World Challenge Jay is extremely happy to finish in the top 5.
The last 2 rounds of the Pirelli World Challenge season were held in beautiful Monterey, California at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Rounds 11 and 12 ended with a finish of 10th place and 8th place respectively. After all of the points were tallied from the entire season, finishing 5th out of 24 entrants in the TCA class was an amazing feat. With the help of a great team at Berg Racing and our sponsors at Fuse Lenses and Regenexx Cayman we were able to be competitive this season. The Berg Racing crew even earned the TC Crew of the Year award at the season ending banquet. This wouldn’t be possible without a strong crew giving us a great car to work with.
Our partners and friends at Fuse Lenses also came out in full force to celebrate the end of a great season. They had a huge display in the vendor village complete with 3 TVs, a waffle maker, a custom lense cutter, and lots of prize giveaways. They even threw a huge party on Saturday night and invited all of the teams, drivers and crew to celebrate with free beer & pizza. We can’t thank them enough for their support during the season. We definitely couldn’t do this without them. They have been extremely supportive and brought a lot of fun and excitement for all of the fans and teams at the races. They truly embraced the spirit of racing and we look forward to having them on board with us again next year.
